June 2026 Events
Greetings members!
The summer will soon be upon us and I am sure you join me in welcoming the beautiful California weather this time of year. As you know, June will be our final monthly meeting until we start up again in September. So please join us for our annual picnic at the Dollar Clubhouse, We will have sandwiches, assorted salads and desserts to enjoy along with great conversation with old and new friends.
The picnic will be on June 2 and the cost is $20 for members and $25 for guests. If you haven't already, register by May 28 by clicking this link! It will be a great afternoon escape.

Tuesday, June 2: PICNIC!
The Connection club is hosting a soon to be summer picnic at the Dollar Clubhouse Patio at 11:30 AM on June 2.
The cost for the picnic, which will include sandwiches, salads and assorted desserts, is $20 for members and $25 for guests. The registration form is in this link.

Thursday, June 4: Cocktails at Creekside: 4 PM in the Bunker Room- This is an informal and fun way for ladies to get together to meet other women and build connections. This event is open to members and non members alike.
Because the Golden Pear Restaurant may still be closed, everyone may bring their own drink for an hour of conversation and friendship.
(Of course, if the Golden Pear Restaurant is open, feel free to purchase a beverage of your choice and bring it to the room.)

Thursday, June 25: “Let’s do Lunch”: The Connection club is holding its monthly luncheon to provide an opportunity to meet with old friends and create new friendships. We are planning on meeting at the Buttercup Diner (660 Ygnacio Valley Rd, Walnut Creek). Ladies will be able to order off the menu and receive separate checks for their meals.

Every Wednesday Games: In the Oak Room at Gateway 1-3 PM. This is a drop-in group to play cards or other games. Often the game is hand and foot which is easy to learn and play. No experience is necessary. As the room is not dedicated to our club, look for the Connection group in the room. They usually sit by the windows.
Every Monday Walk and Talk: 5 PM - Every Monday there is a group of women who meet behind the Event Center to walk for about 40 minutes on the golf course.
