Greetings Connection Club members.
It is now my favorite time of year.
Spring, when flowers are in bloom and the weather is magnificent! To celebrate this renewal, Connections will host our annual "Spring Fling" coming up on April 7. I hope to see many of you at that event.
Details are listed below and registration is open now until April 3. Advance registration is required for this event both for the caterer's planning needs and for the activity fee which must be paid before the event.
Our Board has been busy working around the restaurant closure at Creekside and we thank all of you for your patience as we make changes to activities to accommodate this renovation.
One of our projects this year is to build a structure to accommodate new social connection groups, formerly called Sunday Socials, In order to form new groups, or to provide potential new members to groups who are looking for an extra participant, we are asking people who are currently coordinating a Sunday social group to contact Sharon Dickson so she can document and support your existing group. Her e-mail address is

That is all the new information I have. In the meantime, I encourage you to enjoy your newly blossoming neighborhood and see if any of the Connection opportunities our club offers can help you meet with old friends and make new ones.

This is a drop-in group to play cards or other games. Often the game is hand and foot which is easy to learn and play. No experience is necessary. As the room is not dedicated to our club, look for the Connection group in the room. They usually sit by the windows.

Thursday, April 2: Cocktails at Creekside: 4 PM in the Bunker Room- This is
an informal and fun way for ladies to get together to meet other women and build connections. This event is open to members and non members alike.
Because Creekside is closed, everyone is to bring their own drink for an hour of conversation and friendship.

Tuesday, April 7: Spring Fling: The Connection club is hosting It's annual spring fling dinner as we welcome this beautiful warm weather and
abundance of flowers with friends both new and old This catered event will be served as a buffet featuring
salad, fruit, lemon Rosemary chicken, eggplant parmesan and much more. Join us at 5:30 PM in the Donner room at the Event Center with doors opening at 5:00 PM.
Please note that the deadline for registration is April 3 and the cost for the activity fee is $35 for members and $40 for non members. Advance registration and payment is required.
