- Letter from theNewPresident-
Greetings to all Connection members! We are sending this from a new email account using a new communication tool. Below you will find the listing of February events. Hopefully you will find time in your busy schedules to attend some meetings and make some new friends.
A highlight this month will be the meeting on Tuesday, February 3 at 7 PM in the Donner room at the Event Center to welcome Ann Peterson, who is Rossmoor‘s Director of Communications. She will be discussing the new website which will focus on user-friendly features and additional online resident services. This is a not to miss conversation and I look forward to seeing many of you there!
Due to the generosity of attendees at our bingo event in January, we collected $170 in donations for Meals on Wheels. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this worthy cause. We will continue to collect donations for Meals on Wheels at each monthly event.
Also, a change to note this month is that our “Let’s Do Lunch” will be meeting at the Peony Garden Restaurant on Thursday, February 26. This change of venue anticipates that the Creekside Restaurant will not yet be open. And carpooling will be coordinated for those who need the service.
Our new directory is scheduled to be printed. And we hope to have this available to all members at the March meeting.
The Connection club currently has over 150 members. We hope to see many of you at the variety of events coming up. We welcomed eighteen new members from December and January!

The Connection club is hosting Ann Peterson, Rossmoor’s director of communications, to discuss the upcoming redesign for Rossmoor’s two websites. While rossmoor.com is becoming a new marketing website focused on prospective buyers, myrossmoor.com will cater exclusively to residents with user friendly features, improved search functionality, and by the end of the year, the ability to handle more resident services online. Please join us for this important and topical conversation for all residents.
