Greetings to Members of The Connection,
It is hard for me to believe that we are already in the holiday season. I hope that you have (or had) a wonderful Thanksgiving. Many holiday events are happening in Rossmoor and beyond, offering a variety of ways to celebrate. May you enjoy some of these festivities.
For those of you attending the Holiday Dinner, as we do at our Holiday dinners, we will be taking donations during the evening for Meals on Wheels to benefit those in Rossmoor. From our last event we were able to send MoW a $76. contribution.
If you are not coming to the dinner but wish to contribute, you can place a check made out to The Connection in the mailbox at Gateway.
As we look to the end of 2025, I express my heartfelt gratitude for all your support over the last three years. The time has gone by so fast that it seems more like a year. It has been my privilege to work with such a wonderful group of women on the Board and all of you members. It takes all of us to keep this a vibrant group for women. As we enter 2026, I hope you will continue to offer your support and suggestions to our new President, Jan Kline, and the Board.
We give sincere thanks to Terry Yancey for her faithful service on the Board over the last few years, first as Webmaster and then as chair of our charity donations. We are grateful for Terry's contributions. Martha Heald will be taking over that spot next year.
