Greetings to the Ladies of The Connection,
Summer has come and gone in a flash, and it’s time to embrace the season of shorter days and stunning foliage. Let’s appreciate the beauty that surrounds our community and take pride in living in such a picturesque place.
I am also thrilled to welcome our new members who joined us this month:

- Cheryl Larsen
- Margery Sicotte
Many talented women are part of our group, and I encourage anyone interested in presenting a program about their past careers or fascinating travel experiences to reach out to me. If you know of someone who would be a good presenter, I would like to know that too.
Additionally, we are actively seeking members to serve on the Board of Directors. If you want to learn more about available positions, including Treasurer, don’t hesitate to contact Jan Klein at 412-559-9310 or iamjanklein@gmail.com, or get in touch with me at beverlyfellows@comcast.net or on my cell at 925-300-5171. Being on the board is an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow members and have some fun!
I know there’s strong interest in playing Scrabble or Mahjong. If you’re interested, please reach out so we can connect you with others who have the same passion.
Lastly, many of you have expressed a desire to revive the Eating Out Lunch group and International Dining. If you want to lead (or co-lead) either of these groups, reach out to me immediately.

We will be hosting member, Anne Bevilacqua, who will speak about her experience teaching in the prison system, emphasizing the importance of honoring and empowering education despite the classroom location, the specific students, or the stereo types related to these concepts.
